Jennifer Parker is a photographer based in Los Angeles.

Jennifer’s photography is informed by her deep knowledge of art and design acquired through a lifetime dedicated to the study and practice of art. She studied the history of art, architecture, and design at the University of St Andrews, the University of Virginia, the Courtauld Institute of Art, and Columbia University, where she also taught.

In addition to her photographic practice, Jennifer has worked on the preservation of historic architecture, furniture, and the decorative arts for museums and architectural practices in both the US and the UK.

Most recently, she has developed an interest in the field of neuroaesthetics, or the neuroscientific study of the impact of the arts on the human brain, as well as in the treatment of physical and mental illnesses. Drawing on that research, she developed a series of contemplative art experiences to benefit overall wellness, enhance creative thinking, and foster community through engagement with individual works by the world’s most celebrated artists.
